Adil Tahir was named HR Manager for the CUNY ASRC in September 2015. In this role, Adil manages all aspects of Human Resources Administration for the facility, including, recruitment and selection, classification, onboarding, and performance management. Adil ensures the facility is in compliance with CUNY personnel policies and procedures and provides onsite guidance to management and employees on all HR matters.
Adil joins the ASRC with 10 years of Human Resources experience in the public sector. Prior to his arrival at the ASRC, Adil was the Change Management Lead for the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services, located in the heart of City Hall Manhattan. As Change Management Lead, Adil built strategies and frameworks and executed key initiatives to drive organizational development initiatives, including human resources, change management, and customized learning solutions that impacted 300,000+ employees throughout 80+ agencies city-wide. Adil has served in a similar HR capacity with the Fire Department of New York as an HR Analyst and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as an HR Generalist.
A CUNY product, Adil holds a BS in Psychology from the City College of New York and an MPA focusing in Public Management from Baruch College.
